Game Project #3 - A Royal Order

This was the third game project at TGA, one of our longest projects but also one filled with new experiences. This was our first time using TGE (TGA's own engine) where we used Unity as a bridge, as well as my first time making a game completely with 2D sprites.

We decided to draw some of our assets and others we made in blender and rendered using a shader to make it coherent.

I mainly focused on assets and creating our shader, render-pipeline (for 3D to 2D workflow) and documentation with clear step by step instructions for the rest of the team. Because I was responsible for most of the gameplay assets I worked extra close with our level designers and playtested the game with them, often several times a week. During this time we both discussed readability on the assets as well as talking about the development of the levels.
