The second game project for my second year at TGA is a third person game, and is still currently in the making so these are some hints for what will come ;)
For this project we continued using the engine Frostheim - the engine our programmers are building during the projects. Unreal Engine is also used as a bridge for the project.
The team consist of 18 people working on the game for about 14 weeks 1/2 time.
Our reference game was A Hat in Time, with Luigi's Mansion 3 as our artstyle reference.
For this project I mainly worked on assets, set dressing as well as documentation.
This is our first game project that has support for the art team to make custom colliders for our assets and I was part of the taskforce that implemented this. This means that I've worked closely with the level designers and programmers to convey our, their and the games needs. Because of this I've also made sure to write clear step-by-step documentation on how the blueprints for colliders are to be set up and how they need to be imported into the game.
